Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter, Shiloh, has made headlines again, as she may have a new nickname.

Last year, when she came of age, the 19-year-old, who was born Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, took legal action against her father to remove the surname “Pitt” from her name and legally become Shiloh Jolie.

Now, Shiloh attended a dinner at the iconic Oliver House in Silver Lake. To celebrate fashion designer Isabel Marant’s new collection with Net-A-Porter, the young woman made another public appearance, according to Variety.

But a new detail during the dinner stole the show.

What is Shiloh’s new name?

Shiloh, who is passionate about dance, was the star of the night. Alongside talented dancers Keoni Rose and Tako Suzuki, Shiloh choreographed the performance accompanying singer-songwriter Luella as she performed her single “Naïve,” according to a press release about the event.

The glamorous evening was also attended by celebrities such as Alison Brie, Rachel Bilson, and January Jones.

But that’s not all. The press release also refers to Shiloh by her stage name, ” Shi Joli .” This slightly shorter nickname is loaded with personal connotations and reveals her artistic stance, but above all, it makes her public stance on identity clear.

Shi is not the only one

Her older sister, Zahara, 20, also chose to remove her father’s surname from her name in 2023. At her initiation ceremony into the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College, she introduced herself using only Angelina’s surname.
