FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — Golf club takes on a new meaning at The Fairway Lounge.

Located in the shopping center off of Friant and Audubon in north Fresno, the experience fuses golf, entertainment and elevated eats.

Each bay is equipped with Golfzon technology.

Full-motion swing plates allow you to experience more than 200 golf courses in a realistic manner.

With the multi-surface hitting mat, if you land in the rough, you’re truly playing the ball as it lies.

High-speed camera sensors provide almost immediate feedback on your drives.

“When you do hit the ball, you look up and instantly, the ball is already moving for you,” says The Fairway Lounge General Manager, Jared Dall.

Book by phone or online starting at $65 per bay per hour for up to six players.

“We do have peak times, Thursday through Sunday from 5 pm to 9 pm, so the rates do increase a little bit on those times,” Dall said.

Each bay comes with its own set of clubs, but you’re welcome to play your own.

“We just want to make sure if you do bring your own golf clubs in, they’re cleaned — that way, we don’t damage any of the equipment,” Dall said.

“I wanted to make food that was fresh in-house, that really just goes with the vibe and elevating the experience when people come in,” says The Fairway Lounge Executive Chef, Adam McGhee.

From fairway platters to strawberry arugula salad, McGhee paired his expertise in the kitchen with grub worthy of a green jacket.

“I did a lot of research over a lot of golf tournaments, and tried to match The Masters and PGA Tour that they bring to their experiences,” he said.

When it comes to VIP, the view from the bay is unmatched. A VIP lounge is coming soon.

“Curated to hold more parties upstairs and give you a little more privacy here at The Fairway Lounge,” Dall said.

Bonus screens in each bay allow you to watch major sporting events or movie of your choice with your group, but joining as a member comes with its own set of perks.

Some of the perks include free coffee and free entry into tournaments that will be held at the lounge.
