SpongeBob, TMNT, and Avatar announced as DLC for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is set to be released on September 25th, 2025. The game will be available in two versions, one for the Nintendo Switch and the other for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The new characters will be released as part of the Season Pass DLC included with the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, as well as available for purchase separately. Steve, Alex, and Creeper from Minecraft were announced as the first Season Pass content pack at Summer Game Fest earlier this month. With SpongeBob, TMNT, and ATLA taking the next three slots, two more crossovers are still to be announced.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds – SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and Avatar Legends DLC announced
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be released on September 25. The game will feature characters from the SpongeBob SquarePants universe. It will also include content from Minecraft and the Netflix series. Watch a new trailer for the game below.
A new trailer showcases characters from the SpongeBob SquarePants universe racing alongside Sonic and Friends, as well as a SpongeBob SquarePants-themed vehicle and track.
The Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Digital Deluxe Edition will include access to the Season Pass, which includes the SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and Avatar Legends content, as well as the previously announced Minecraft characters, vehicles, and tracks, characters from the Netflix series Sonic Prime, and two more collaborations to be announced.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on September 25, followed by Switch 2 at a later date.
