Triple A estimates a record 38 million people will be traveling on the roads the next few days. Make sure your vehicle isn’t going to have problems. Top off fluids – check oil, coolant, and brake, transmission, and power steering fluids. Fatigue is as dangerous as drunk driving, take breaks every 100 miles or two hours to stay refreshed. If at all possible try to hit the road early in the morning to get a few hours of travel in before everyone else gets on the road.
