Switch Online SNES Collection adds Mario Paint
The Switch Online SNES Collection has been updated, and fans can hop on right now to enjoy Mario Paint. Please note that a mouse is required, so Switch players will have to plug in a USB mouse. If you’re playing on Switch 2, you can use the Joy-Con 2’s mouse mode to play.
In this classic title originally released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System™ in 1992, you can use simple mouse controls to draw pictures with all sorts of colors and drawing tools. You can even create animated sequences and write music to add to your collage. Bring your very own video creations to life by combining animation and music with the art you’ve made!
And just like in the original game, you can access the Coloring Book featuring fun designs and character art or play the Gnat Attack training game for some extra mouse control fun!
The Mario Paint game is available now on the Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch systems via the Super Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Classics library.

A big feature is that mouse support is included. You can either use the Joy-Con 2 or a compatible USB mouse. Now that Switch 2 has launched, Nintendo may have felt this was a fitting time to have it ready. A subscription to the Expansion Pack tier is not required, so all Nintendo Switch Online members can access it.
