If you’re the kind of reader who’s drawn to building tension with every chapter, an ending you never saw coming, and characters you’re not sure you can trust until the very end, then Reese’s Book Club might be the perfect celebrity book club to join. While other popular celebrity book clubs, like Oprah’s and Jenna Bush Hager’s, lean toward selections of emotional family sagas and quiet, introspective fiction, you’ll find that Reese’s picks regularly dip into darker territory.

Notably, Reese’s Book Club has more than 30 mystery and thriller picks, and that’s not including the mystery and thriller books introduced in the YA division of the club. Also, keep in mind that there have been 97 books (not including YA books) introduced by the book club to date as of June 2025. (And yes, we know this is commendable and might have people thinking: Does Reese read all of her picks?) The book club does an excellent job of selecting titles that span a wide range of genres, but Reese loves to sit down for a heart-pounding, gripping tale.
