Interestingly, many travellers already spend more than that on an airport meal. For instance, a meal and two drinks will cost you about $51, reports the Express.

Plus, it offers added perks like free Wi-Fi, charging stations, and complimentary snacks.

Another worthwhile investment is fast-track security, but timing is key.

During the busy summer travel season, security lines at major airports can extend to 45-60 minutes. Fast-tracking security can cut this down to less than 10 minutes.
