Burks is returning from a torn ACL that limited him to five games last season. The 2022 first-round pick also missed 12 games over his first two NFL seasons, so the team has plenty of experience playing without him over the last three years.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks, who left practice at Nissan Stadium with a shoulder injury on July 26, suffered a fractured collarbone, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.
Rapoport added Burks is expected to miss the start of the season, which begins on Sept. 7 against the Denver Broncos.
“Treylon Burks is being evaluated right now for a shoulder injury,” coach Brian Callahan said after practice. “We’ll have an update on his status at the appropriate time”
The injury occurred during team drills after Burks made a diving catch along the right sideline from quarterback Cam Ward. Burks caught the ball out of bounds, then immediately grabbed his shoulder as he stood up. He left the field and went straight to the locker room after talking to trainers.
The 6-foot-2, 225-pound Burks is coming off a torn ACL that caused him to miss most of the 2024 season. Other injuries caused him to miss several games in 2022 and 2023.

The Titans’ 2022 first-round pick, Burks has played in 27 games over three seasons. He has 53 catches for 699 yards and one touchdown in his career.
In 2022, the Titans drafted Burks at No. 18 overall in a pick they acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles after trading away wide receiver A.J. Brown.
Burks was a standout player at Arkansas, where he caught 146 passes for 2,399 yards and 18 touchdowns.
