Trump Makes Veiled Threat Against Former Russian President Medvedev For Suggesting Support For Iran
Dmitry Medvedev accused President Donald Trump of pushing the U.S. into another war. Trump responded with a rambling Truth Social post on Monday. He accused the former Russian president of “casually throwing around the ‘N’ word (Nuclear!)”
President Donald Trump attacked senior Russian official Dmitry Medvedev in a rambling Truth Social post Monday after the former Russian president accused Trump of having “pushed the U.S. into another war” and suggested other countries would supply Iran with nuclear weapons—moments before Iran fired missiles at a U.S. military base in Qatar.
Trump accused Medvedev, the deputy chair of the Security Council of the Russian Federation and former president of Russia from 2008-2012, of “casually throwing around the ‘N’ word (Nuclear!)”, writing “the ‘N word’ should not be treated so casually. I guess that’s why Putin’s ‘THE BOSS.’”
Trump seemingly facetiously asked his social media followers to “let [him] know” if Medvedev really said “he and other Countries would supply Nuclear Warheads to Iran.”
Trump was responding to a series of tweets from Medvedev over the weekend in which he said “a number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads,” though he did not say Russia would.
