UC Health receives $2.35 million award from Farmer Foundation
The Farmer Family Fund in Neuroscience Nursing will back a partnership between UC Health and the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing. Eligible nurses must work for at least three years at UC Health in neurology-related practice. After four years of service, participating nurses will have their full tuition reimbursed.
The Farmer Family Fund in Neuroscience Nursing will back a partnership between UC Health and the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing. The initiative aims to provide incentives to graduates of the nursing school to begin their careers at UC Health. Eligible nurses must work for at least three years at UC Health in neurology-related practice. After four years of service, participating nurses will have their full tuition reimbursed.
“Through this incredible gift, the Farmer Family Foundation is addressing a significant challenge that our institute and top academic medical centers across the nation face today,” said UC Medical Center chief nursing officer Tara Williams. “Investing and partnering with [the nursing school] will make an indelible impact on our patients.”
