UCLA Health once again earns top honors in annual ‘Best Hospitals’ rankings
UCLA Health has received the top ranking for hospital-based patient care in both Los Angeles and the state. For the 36th straight year, UCLA Health made the U.S. News Honor Roll — reserved for just 20 of the 4,400 hospitals evaluated. Ten UCLA medical specialties were rated in the top 10 nationwide. Among them were hip and knee replacements, various cancers, diabetes, heart conditions, and stroke. The rankings are based on objective measures such as clinical outcomes, preventable complications and level of nursing care. The publication’s Best Hospitals Honor Roll is reserved for only 20 hospitals or health systems.
