Vadodara: Union minister for cooperation Amit Shah on Sunday applauded Kutch-based Sarhad Dairy for registering the first cooperative for salt production. After successfully milking the ship of the desert, Sarhad Dairy is all set to exploit another of nature’s treasures — the salt pans of the Rann of Kutch.”Salt was the only segment left untouched by the cooperative movement. Today, that gap has been filled,” Shah said while addressing a gathering a function in Anand that marked the 4th Foundation Day of the ministry of cooperation.
