“It’s something that we’re very passionate about. It’s been defining in our lives, and we love sharing that with the next generation of children, students, and athletes. It’s something very powerful. It’s such an amazing opportunity for the United States Sports University to showcase,” Olympic Medalist Dr. Noemi Zaharia said.
This year, the university is teaming up with the Exceptional Foundation Gulf Coast for the cause. And students were able to enjoy a day of fun at the university.
“It is so exciting. We’re so grateful for the United States Sports University for inviting us over this morning. And it’s so nice because we’re actually across the street at St. Paul’s Life Center. So, it was awesome just to hop in the car and come on over. And we have a lot of fun activities that we can do, art and Olympic games. So, we’re super excited and so grateful to be here,” Hannah Barr and Ryan Niblett with the Exceptional Foundation said.
All for a day they’ll never forget.
“It’s a good time,” Niblett said.
After finishing up with the art, students were able to go outside and actually participate in some Olympic games.
