UnityPoint Health Meriter nurses return to work following five day strike
UnityPoint Health RN’s will hold a press conference to mark the end of a five day strike. Nurses will also hear from Madison Mayor, Satya Rhodes-Conway. The press conference will begin at 6:30 a.m.
During the press conference, SEIU Wisconsin will give an update on the agreement before nurses head into work. Nurses will also hear from Madison Mayor, Satya Rhodes-Conway.
According to SEIU Wisconsin, “Meriter RNs secured strong contractual language addressing safety, security, and staffing. Nurses also achieved an across-the-board wage increase that truly reflects the dedication, skill, and compassion they bring to their work every day.”
The press conference will begin at 6:30 a.m.
