Unwelcome Guest: Overnight burglar steals package, beer from NKC business
Police are searching for an overnight burglar caught stealing a package and beer. Pizza Tascio, at 111 Burlington St., showed the burglar rummage through boxes until he gave up. He then made his way to the fridge in front of the register and took the beers.
The North Kansas City Police Department announced on Wednesday, June 25, that an investigation was opened recently after Pizza Tascio had an unwelcome guest – an overnight burglar.
Investigators noted that the suspect opened the cash register, took a couple of beers and escaped the business with a package.
Security footage from Pizza Tascio, at 111 Burlington St., showed the burglar rummage through boxes until he gave up, grabbed a package and made his way to the fridge in front of the register and took the beers. He could also be seen going through the restaurant’s emptied trash bin.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect should report that information to the North Kansas City Police Department at 816-274-6013.
