Urbana outreach center hosts health and fun fair
The Kingdom Connection Outreach Center held its Family Fun and Health Fair. The event featured a bouncy house, dunk tank, Kona ice truck and basketball tournament.
The Christian organization partnered up with the Community Health Partnership of Illinois to provide free physicals to Urbana students before they go back to school this fall.
That’s not all the fair provided, however. The event featured a bouncy house, dunk tank, Kona ice truck and basketball tournament.
“We are spreading love,” Pastor Davita Bernard said. “By every stream that we possibly can.”
Bernard said she plans on continuing the event next year.
