USPS hosts “Grow Your Business” event in Pembroke
The U.S. Postal Service hosted a free “Grow Your Business’ event in Pembroke. The event was designed for both new and established small businesses owners. USPS representatives say the services they offer like USPS Ground Advantage can help reduce shipping costs.
The event was designed for both new and established small businesses owners looking to improve their shipping methods.
USPS representatives say the services they offer like USPS Ground Advantage can help reduce shipping costs and improve business reliability for their customers.
Postal workers onsite provided information and resources to keep shipping costs down, offered direct mailing options and streamlined shipping with free shipping supplies and package pickup services.
Tiffany Rowland, the Strategic Communications Specialist for USPS, said, “we have a lot of mom and pops or a lot of people that work from their home and we have pickup services. We tell them about those services, so they can go online, set up automatic pickups for the carrier when they deliver their mail they can also pick up their packages.”
All week, different post offices in Georgia have been holding these “Grow Your Business Day” events.
