EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – Valley Sports Academy is hosting its 2nd annual golf scramble fundraiser on July 31st at Lake Wissota Golf Course in Chippewa Falls. Proceeds going to the Village Project, Inc. in support of athletic opportunities for underprivileged children.

The money allows VSA to use the overall funds and gift our scholarships. The money raised will allow families to apply for programs, guardian team play, camps and more. The cost to provide these types of opportunities should be available to ALL skill level that apply, and want to learn or get better at their athletic passion.

Phil Swiler, VSA Director of Community Engagement joined Bob Gallaher on Hello Wisconsin to talk about this year’s event that will feature former Green Bay Packers kicker and Super Bowl champion, Chris Jacke as well as local sports celebrities Paul Delakis, Charlotte Akervik, Sam Stange and Zach Urdahl.
