‘Wave of Blessings’ provides children with health services before first day of school
The Greater New Liberty Church hosted the ‘Wave of Blessings: Back to School Bash’ Sunday morning. The two-hour event served as an event for the young children of Memphis to prepare for the school year.

With the weeks until the first day of school dwindling down, the church held a supply drive and also provided pediatric health vendors, immunizations, and snow cones.
Deiadra Rice spoke on the need to provide the different health services at the event.
“A large problem with healthcare that will health their disparities is exposure. It’s not because they aren’t available; people just don’t know about them. They are able to come here, learn about these services, and take part in these services.”
