A well-known ice cream and miniature golf business located on Cincinnati’s west side is getting new owners.The current owners of General Custer’s Golf and Gulp, located on Westbourne Drive in Bridgetown, announced their retirement in a post to Facebook on Wednesday.Kathi and Keith Heinlein said they are retiring to spend more time with their grandchildren and to relax more.The two said they are passing ownership to Carlena and Gene Lockhart, who also own Mingles Ice Cream in North Bend.”We would like to thank each and every one of you for making these past 20 years so enjoyable,” the owners said in the post. “You will never know what it meant to us to have you, the best and kindest customers, in the world visit our establishment! We will miss you, more than you know and wish you all the best as we venture into our next portion of our lives.”Golf is open at General Custer’s Golf and Gulp from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, while ice cream is served from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., with sales beginning at noon on Sundays.
