The Basketball Tournament is open to men and women from all U.S. colleges and universities, as well as the University of Louisville and University of Texas at Austin. There are eight seeded regionals to progress through the bracket, with eight teams in each region.

The Basketball Tournament is an open application summer basketball tournament with a $1 million winner-take-all final prize. Many teams in the tournament are organized around the schools the players attended, such as the Boeheim’s Army team, comprised of Syracuse University Men’s Basketball alumni such as Jimmy Boeheim, Rakeem Christmas, Chris McCullough and more. Boeheim’s Army has now been eliminated from the contest by We Are D3, one of the most underrated teams in the tournament.
Teams are divided into eight seeded regionals to progress through the bracket.
