Steph Curry cracks top 10 in ESPN’s NBA Rank 2025

ESPN released its top-10 players for NBA Rank for 2025 on Thursday. Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry cracked the top 10, landing at No. 7 overall. Curry finished ahead of fellow veterans LeBron James (No. 8) and Kevin Durant ( No. 9) Minnesota’s Anthony Edwards ranked one spot ahead of Curry at No 6 overall.

Through the first two waves of rankings, the Golden State Warriors had three players earn places in ESPN’s new edition of their “NBA Rank” for 2025.

To compile their list of the top 100 players in the NBA, ESPN reporters, editors, producers and analysts rank players based on their predicted contributions for the 2025-26 season.

On Thursday, ESPN released its top-10 players for NBA Rank. To no surprise, Steph Curry cracked the top 10, landing at No. 7 overall.

Curry finished ahead of fellow veterans LeBron James (No. 8) and Kevin Durant (No. 9). Minnesota’s Anthony Edwards ranked one spot ahead of Curry at No. 6 overall.

During 70 games with the Warriors last season, Curry averaged 24.5 points on 44.8% shooting from the field and 39.7% shooting from beyond the arc. Curry added six assists and 4.4 rebounds in 32.2 minutes per game.

After a strong start to the postseason, Curry’s playoff run was cut short due to a hamstring injury. Without Curry, the Warriors were bounced from the second round of the postseason in five games by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Curry joined Jimmy Butler (No. 19), Draymond Green (No. 51) and Jonathan Kuminga (No. 83) as members of the Warriors to be featured in the 2025 edition of ESPN’s NBA Rank.
