NATO chief issues horrifying warning for World War 3 as he predicts how it will start
NATO chief Mark Rutte has issued a chilling prediction about how WW3 will begin, as conflicts escalate around the world. He believes both China’s Xi Jinping and Russia’s Vladimir Putin will carry out invasions. The combined attacks from both leaders could trigger a world war and also put the Earth right on the edge of armageddon. Russia today hit at the NATO chief, claiming he had ‘gorged on too many of the magic mushrooms beloved by the Dutch’, and warned that he could look forward to residing in a Siberian camp. He also claimed that there is an ‘enormous geopolitical challenge’ happening right now, and that Russia is reconstituting itself at a pace and a speed which is ‘unprecedented in recent history’ He was speaking at the 2025 NATO summit in The Hague in the Netherlands, and referred to Donald Trump as ‘daddy’
Ever since the 2025 NATO summit took place in The Hague in the Netherlands, there has been a lot we’ve heard about Rutte.
The event sees heads of state from NATO countries come together to discuss world security topics, and during one of those talks, NATO Secretary General Rutte referred to Donald Trump as ‘daddy’.
While it was in a metaphor for the current tensions between Israel, Iran and the States, that didn’t stop people from turning it into a meme.

Trump has also been in the news quite a bit too after he swore in an interview after being asked about Iran and Israel reportedly breaking their ceasefire.
While he’s been involved in peace talks with those two Middle Eastern enemies, he was also very active in attempting to facilitate Russia and Ukraine’s ceasefire.
While neither country has been particularly keen to meet the terms of such a peace deal, this could actually spark the beginning of a catastrophic war on Earth.
This comes after Rutte warned just how WW3 would begin, and it includes the actions of one of the warring country’s leaders.

He explained that the next war will begin with both China’s Xi Jinping and Russia’s Vladimir Putin carrying out invasions.
Rutte suggested the combined attacks from both leaders could trigger a world war and also put the Earth right on the edge of armageddon.
According to the NATO chief, he predicted that China would start by attempting to take over Taiwan, while the Kremlin leader would attack NATO territory at the same time.

Rutte told the New York Times: “Let’s not be naïve about this.
“If Xi Jinping would attack Taiwan, he would first make sure that he makes a call to his very junior partner in all of this, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, residing in Moscow, and telling him, ‘Hey, I’m going to do this, and I need you to to keep them busy in Europe by attacking NATO territory’.
“That is most likely the way this will progress, and to deter them, we need to do two things.”
Rutte added: “One is that NATO, collectively, being so strong that the Russians will never do this.

“And second, working together with the Indo-Pacific – something President Trump is very much promoting, because we have this close interconnectedness, working together on defence industry, innovation between NATO and the Indo-Pacific.”
However, Russia today hit at the NATO chief, claiming he had ‘gorged on too many of the magic mushrooms beloved by the Dutch’, and warned that he could look forward to residing in a Siberian camp.
Rutte also claimed that there is an ‘enormous geopolitical challenge’ happening right now.

He said: “And that is first of all Russia, which is reconstituting itself at a pace and a speed which is unparalleled in recent history.
“They are now producing three times as much ammunition in three months as the whole of NATO is doing in a year.”
He added: “This is unsustainable, but the Russians are working together with the North Koreans, with the Chinese and Iranians, the mullahs, in fighting this unprovoked war of aggression against Ukraine.
“So here, the Indo-Pacific and your Atlantic are getting more and more interconnected. We know that China has its eye on Taiwan.”
Donald Trump hit with disturbing cognitive claims: ‘Weekend at Bernie’s White House’
Dr. John Gartner says he believes Donald Trump is suffering from dementia. He says the president will “fall of a cliff’ cognitively before the end of his term. “They’re going to be wheeling him around, but don’t think that he can’s get into trouble,” he said of the media. ‘We are starting to see people cover for him. Everyone is acting like it’s perfectly normal when he says these completely crazy things,’ he said. ‘It’ll go from a farce to tragedy or from tragedy to farce, but it is going to get more and more absurd.’ ‘He has trouble completing a thought and that is a huge deterioration. His vocabulary has deteriorated, but also he has started to show very specific signs of phonemic paraphasia for example where he routinely can’t say an English word so he substitutes a non-word that is easier to pronounce that sounds like it’
Dr. John Gartner made the disturbing claims during a recent appearance on “The Dean Obeidallah Show,” revealing that he believes the president is suffering from dementia and will “fall of a cliff” cognitively before the end of his term.
“Here’s the thing, will he become impaired enough that they need to invoke the 25th amendment? Yes,” Gartner said. “Will they invoke the 25th amendment? No.
“We are going to have a Weekend at Bernie’s White House,” he added. “They’re going to be wheeling him around, but don’t think that he can’t get into trouble. He will. It’s going to go from a farce to tragedy or from tragedy to farce, but it is going to get more and more absurd.”
Gartner told Obeidallah he is convinced that Trump has dementia.
“Basically, what we see are the classic signs of dementia, which is gross deterioration from someone’s baseline and function,” he said. “That’s very important because one of the areas that we can most physically see this is in his verbal productions. And, if you go back and look at film from the 1980s, he actually was extremely articulate. He was still a jerk, but he was able to express himself in polished paragraphs, and now he really has trouble completing a thought and that is a huge deterioration. His vocabulary has deteriorated, but also he has started to show very specific signs of phonemic paraphasia for example where he routinely can’t say an English word so he substitutes a non-word that is easier to pronounce that sounds like it.”
Gartner claimed there are “dozens of examples” of Trump doing this.
“It’s not a big thing, but it is a diagnostic sign, and this is why it is important to have doctors evaluating these things,” he said. “People don’t do that. Yeah, you and I, we have memory problems, we are getting older. We forget things. That’s not the same as starting to use non-English words and to substitute for English words because we have trouble forming the whole word, but he has trouble forming a whole concept.”
Gartner, who has previously made it clear he is no fan of Trump, was then asked about the possibility of having a president with dementia.
“Well, we are starting to see that,” he said. “One thing is we are starting to see people cover for him. Everyone is acting like it’s perfectly normal when he says these completely crazy things. Like, remember when some reporter asked him about Harvard and academic freedom. He went on to say, ‘Well in Harlem, the people really love me. I got a lot of the Black vote, but they don’t like what’s happening at Harvard either, that’s why they are protesting in Harlem.’ I mean he got Harlem, because they sound alike and maybe the reporter who asked him is Black, but he is not just mishearing the word like, ‘Oh, I thought you said Harlem.’ He goes back to the people in Harlem are actually protesting what’s happening at Harvard. It’s like how he does the weave. You know, the weave was a brilliant way he had for explaining his thought disorder.
“It’s not a weave, OK,” Gartner continued. “It’s really an example of what we call tangential thought, where he goes off on loose associations. So, Harvard sounds like Harlem. Harlem now he gets into a whole thing about Black voters. Then he somehow comes back he remembers it did have something to do with Harvard so now he has to circle back to Harvard but now the people in Harlem are protesting what is happening in Harvard. So, he gums it together in this sort of confabulated story to kind of weave his loose associations together and then we all just, you see the reporters looking really confused, and then people just go on and ask another question as if we didn’t just witness an example of thought disorder.”
Obeidallah asked Gartner how he believes the media should cover it.
“By covering it for one thing,” he said. “They’re not covering it at all. I mean look before the election we had an enormous amount of trouble getting them to address Trump’s cognitive decline. They were very focused on Biden’s and that’s a whole other story, and they ignored Trump’s. And now that he is president, and he’s intimidating all of these media outlets, they’re terrified of him. And so they’re much even more afraid to make any reference to his cognitive decline. So, even when it’s in a kind of 3D grotesque way, right in front of our eyes, it’s just everyone’s turning a blind eye to it.
“The thing is that to a doctor or to anyone who has ever had a relative with dementia, this is very familiar because these ideas are sort of adjacent to each other in your associative track so yeah, the Declaration of Independence, that was about the Revolutionary War, OK early American wars, the Civil War was an early American war, but the thing is that it sort of becomes a soup where you become disoriented in time,” Gartner added. “So all these things kind of blend together, you know, Putin is the head of Russia, Russia was our ally in World War II so Putin fought in World War II so why are people so mad at Putin, he fought in World War II? He was our ally. And he kept saying Putin fought as if he was a veteran of World War II. So, in other words, it’s crazy. It’s what we call a confabulation which is when patients with dementia have gaps in their memory, they have loose associations, and they do a weave. They do a weave, but they weave these loose associations into a made-up story that isn’t reality.”
He told Obeidallah he does believe that things have gotten worse for Trump from the time he was campaigning to now, but he claimed the president is able to cover it up better while in the White House.
“When he was campaigning and doing these long rallies, every single day he’s standing on the podium talking for an hour and a half, and he’s just babbling for half the time,” he said. I” mean, there was so much material, and then for a while when he became president it kind of went dark. You weren’t seeing as much thought disorder material. And people kept saying, ‘Oh, I thought you said it was dementia, what’s happening?’ And you are like, ‘Well, they’re hiding him.’
“But now, you see, it’s starting to come out,” he continued. “You don’t think that the Declaration of Independence started the Civil War if you are a compos mentis adult.”
Gartner claimed that he was not just basing his accusation on cognitive tells.
“He was very coordinated, and now he really does have trouble getting up the stairs,” he said. “He does trip and fall. It’s not just a gotcha thing, ‘Oh he tripped on the stars.’ No, his gait is slow. He is falling.”
Gartner also claimed that the way the president swings his right leg is a concern.
“I predicted before the election that he would probably fall off the cliff before the end of his term,” Gartner said. “And at the rate he is deteriorating, you know … we’ll see. But the point is that it’s going to get worse. That’s my prediction. All these signs that we have been talking about are going to get more pronounced and I don’t know, are we going to keep normalizing and normalizing and normalizing it? I keep thinking now there’s no bottom to our normalization that he could just be sort of babbling and everyone would say, ‘Oh, you know, that’s Trump,’ or something.”
Baba Vanga’s 2025 predictions: Is the next world war just around the corner – here’s what she predicted about the global wars and other crisis
Baba Vanga predicted war, economic meltdown, and natural catastrophes in 2025. The prophecy has been more relevant as the world is now suffering from economic instability. The recent natural disasters are already triggering fears that Baba Vanga’s prophecy about cataclysmic earthquakes is happening. Her visions of space exploration, especially a Venus mission, mark the increasing interest in interplanetary travel. Her vision of world communism defies the direction that world politics will take in the next few decades. While some consider her prophecies to be works of fiction, others consider them to be a warning of the destiny of mankind. Vanga has gained a reputation for being capable of accurately predicting major events across the globe. Although critics claim that she had an impressive record of accurate prophecies, others justify her predictions by citing real instances of real events such as the September 11 attacks, the assassination of Princess Diana, and the COVIDVID-19 pandemic-19-19. Her predictions have gained her both a devoted audience and deep-seated skepticism.

With 2025 looming, Vanga’s predictions, particularly on war, economic meltdown, and natural catastrophes, are being reevaluated. Her dark prophecies have also re-awakened with the new predictions as to whether they are something beyond coincidence, thanks to the current geopolitical weather.

Baba Vanga predicted 2025 as the year of economic chaos
Apart from foretelling war, Baba Vanga foresaw a worldwide economic collapse in 2025. Her prophecy envisioned an economic collapse occurring hand in hand with geopolitical instability, which could be precipitated by policies and actions destabilizing world markets.
The prophecy has been more relevant as the world is now suffering from economic instability in 2025.
The world economy is already under stress due to tense relations between great powers. For instance, the United States has placed hefty tariffs on China, including a 145% tariff on certain Chinese goods. The resulting trade war has destabilised the world economy, causing supply chain disruptions and a fear of an economic meltdown.
Such economic tension appears to justify Vanga’s prediction of global chaos, and her prophecy of a global collapse appears very possible.
The world economy is so interconnected that a collapse in one large economy can ripple throughout the entire world, spreading overall financial chaos. As inflation increases, markets swing, and more countries become protectionist, the potential for an economic disaster hangs over everything at all times.

Now, time alone will tell whether the happenings of 2025 will fulfill Baba Vanga’s dire prophecy or remain a threat that never comes to pass.
Baba Vanga warned of massive earthquakes in 2025
Baba Vanga also predicted natural disasters but specifically intense earthquakes in 2025. These earthquakes, in her words, would hit the Earth with a tremendous amount of power, leading to wholesale destruction and human loss. This is one prediction that has already been fulfilled in part, as the world is experiencing heightened seismic activity.
At the beginning of 2025, a gigantic 7.7-magnitude earthquake hit Myanmar and claimed the lives of more than 1,700 people, in addition to the extensive destruction left in its wake. The devastating catastrophe was preceded by strong aftershocks in neighbouring countries like Thailand and Tonga. The recent natural disasters are already triggering fears that Baba Vanga’s prophecy about cataclysmic earthquakes is happening.
The link between her prophecies and the recent earthquakes has added to public fear. If Vanga’s earthquake prediction in 2025 comes true, it could be part of a long chain of escalating natural disasters due to climate change, human actions, or plain ordinary cosmological happenstance. The question then arises: is this just a coincidence, or are the movements part of an extensive, irreversible chain?
Baba Vanga’s glimpse into the distant future raises new questions
Baba Vanga was not concerned with the short term alone; her prophecies extend very far into the future.
Among her more bizarre prophecies are human exploration of Venus within 2028, the coming of global communism within 2076, and contact with alien civilizations within 2130. Such predictions, as fanciful as they are, chart the course of humanity far beyond the year 2025.
Her visions of space exploration, especially a Venus mission, mark the increasing interest in interplanetary travel. With space agencies such as NASA and private entities such as SpaceX mapping out ambitious Mars missions and further, Vanga’s vision of going to Venus is no dream.
Likewise, her vision of world communism defies the direction that world politics will take in the next few decades.
Long-term prophecies given by Vanga are still controversial. While others do not consider them to be real but works of fiction, others consider them a warning of the destiny of mankind. Whether we consider these visions real or not, they do continue to stir controversy over our destiny here on Earth and in space.
Baba Vanga’s prophecies
While most of her prophecies are vague, Baba Vanga has gained a reputation for being capable of accurately predicting major events across the globe. Her reported 85% success rate in prophecies is quoted by those who justify her predictions by citing instances of real, accurate prediction of massive events such as the September 11 attacks, the assassination of Princess Diana, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Although most of her fans claimed that she had an impressive record, critics claim that her prophecies were often ambiguous and open to interpretation.
The rate of success attributed to Baba Vanga is also typically called into question, critics arguing that her visions are a function of common human fears and inclinations rather than any supernatural capability. Yet the fact that so many of her prophecies have come to pass continues to give credence to the idea that there may be more substance to her visions than coincidence.
Baba Vanga 2025 predictions of global conflicts
The most ominous 2025 prophecy by Baba Vanga is that there will be a catastrophic war in Europe.
The prophet had predicted the war as the start of humanity’s downfall. In the recent past, tensions in Europe have been rising, especially in places like Ukraine where already there has been constant war that has attracted several world powers. Vanga’s prophecy implies that the war may be apocalyptic, not only for Europe but for the whole world.
The concept that war would be the “decline of humanity” is part of a larger story about the future of global stability.
With nations moving to reinforce their military posts and alliances, the specter of another total war hangs in the air, with some experts cautioning that geopolitical tensions in Eastern Europe are on the verge of escalating into something much worse. Baba Vanga’s vision of a war that might be a turning point for mankind’s history is in line with increasing fears of an increase in global military conflicts.

More than a year after NATO military chief Dutch Admiral Rob Bauer called on the West to “prepare for an era of war”, Vladimir Putin’s mouthpiece has threatened Sir Keir Starmer and his “coalition of the willing” with nuclear warfare.
Amid murmurs of a threat of World War 3 for Britain last February, the Mirror spoke with a security and intelligence expert who said the chance of an army conflict between Russia and NATO is “now all too real” – and his comments now ring eerily true.
During his ‘Sunday Evening With Vladimir Solovyov’ broadcast, Solovyov, a well-known conduit for the Russian leader’s rhetoric and an avid commentator on Russia’s involvement in Ukraine, declared the UK and US “are directly waging war against us”. In a direct threat to the West, he warned world leaders they would “feel their consequences” the same as the soldiers on the frontline.
He said: “You don’t understand the main thing. We see right through your coalition of peacemakers, who are not peacemakers but basically interventionists, will be destroyed. You have to realise that not only the frontline units you’re planning to deploy on the territory of Ukraine will be destroyed, but since we can’t perceive it in any other way other than the direct participation of your countries, you will feel the consequences, the likes of which you have never seen. All of your howling will not help you.”

He added in a grim threat to Britain, France, Germany, and the Baltic states: “Your fate will be sad.” But what could this dark reality look like? Modern-day war in the UK would follow a ‘WW2-inspired blueprint’ with secret police, forced labour camps and strict food rations, according to a world affairs expert.

Professor Anthony Glees, from the University of Buckingham, told the Mirror last year: “If the next war is a nuclear war, it will be up and running in hours and over in hours. There will be no winners, only losers.”
The prof believed Putin “will have become suicidal” and would “attack a number of key sites in the UK and continental Europe, almost certainly without warning and without an ultimatum”. He said: “There will be no time for anyone to do very much except prepare for deep impact extinction as best they can.
“However, if it is, as I believe, not going to be a nuclear war, then not only do things look very different – but it is entirely credible to argue it has already started.” Prof Glees eerily predicted World War 3 would progress in three stages, starting with threats from Russia which we have seen in recent days.
Stage 1: Threats and subversion
“If Putin wins (or has something he can say is a ‘win’) in Ukraine, and especially if Trump becomes the next American President, Putin will begin to put pressure on all the post-1997 NATO members,” Prof Glees explained. He believes the Kremlin leader would first “attempt to soften us up” and try to divide the UK.
He said Putin is already trying to “subvert our democratic system and give political leverage to those who would support him”. “His skill set is of the Soviet intelligence community, and their aim has always been to make threats, to subvert and to hollow out their potential enemies,” Prof Glees continued. If his attempts to divide and conquer do not work, the prof believes Putin would move to stage two.
Professor Anthony Glees, historian and political scientist at the University of Buckingham, explains what modern-day war would look like in Britain (Image: DPA/PA Images )
Stage 2: Putin attacks NATO
He outlined the second stage as a “war of attrition”, fought with conventional weapons and UK troops as part of NATO’s Armed Forces. “Slowly, Russian forces would advance to the Pyrenees,” Prof Glees said. He paints a picture of modern-day war in Britain, with fresh food sources quickly running out and petrol unavailable to the everyday Brit.
“We would run out of fresh food in days,” Prof Glees explained. “A massive Russian cyber attack on our critical national infrastructure would mean we can’t get cash out of our bank accounts, we cannot pay bills, we might not get electricity, gas, and – if Putin wanted – he could try to turn out the lights.”
The prof believes rationing of food and goods would “follow a WW2-inspired blueprint”. “Petrol and diesel would be virtually unobtainable for ordinary people. Medicines would quickly be subject to severe rationing and would soon disappear altogether,” he continued.
Britain would run out of fresh food in days and follow a ‘WW2-inspired blueprint’, a world affairs expert believes (stock photo) (Image: Getty Images )
“Although we would hope the EU would continue to supply us with food, we would have to rely on the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, especially if much of Western Europe were to fall under Russian control. We would quickly see a black market for home-produced food and clothing.”
Prof Glees believes “all be subject to a curfew to stop looting and nights would be dark to save electricity”, and he predicts there would be conscription. “All adults between the ages of 18 and 40, male and single females would be eligible to be drafted”, he said.
Article continues below
However, the official spokesperson for the Prime Minister at the time, Rishi Sunak, addressed rumours of conscription and said that month that No 10 did not agree, adding: “The British military has a proud position of being a voluntary force. As I say, there’s no plan for conscription.”
Stage 3: A pro-Putin government
Prof Glees predicts that within a month of a conventional war, “a British Quisling government would be established, probably under a well-known domestic politician known to be sympathetic to Putin”. He said: “Within a year, the UK would become a Russian colony and run like Russia, with a secret police and forced labour camps for anyone showing the least opposition to the Russian regime”.
“Russian language would be taught in our schools, Russian or pro-Russian Quislings would run our public institutions. The Royal Family would go to Canada and resistance leaders would try to establish a following from secret bases in Wales and Scotland,” the prof added.

A NATO chief has issued a chilling WW3 warning predicting both Russia and China will launch a twin attack.
NATO secretary general Mark Rutte said a simultaneous invasion by Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin could put the world at serious risk of nuclear annihilation. China would plot to annex the island nation of Taiwan while Russia launches an invasion of a NATO member.
Mr Rutte gave the warning as he stressed the need for member states to increase their military budgets and re-arm. He told The New York Times: “Let’s not be naïve about this: If Xi Jinping would attack Taiwan, he would first make sure that he makes a call to his very junior partner in all of this, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, residing in Moscow, and telling him, ‘Hey, I’m going to do this, and I need you to to keep them busy in Europe by attacking NATO territory.’ That is most likely the way this will progress.”

He explained Beijing and Moscow could only be deterred by a strong NATO. He added: “One is that NATO, collectively, being so strong that the Russians will never do this.
“And second, working together with the Indo-Pacific – something President [Donald] Trump is very much promoting. Because we have this close interconnectedness, working together on defence industry, innovation between NATO and the Indo-Pacific.”

Experts fear Russia could rapidly rebuild its decimated army by 2027, despite sending tens of thousands of its soldiers to their deaths in a failed bid to conquer Ukraine. The International Institute for Strategic Studies said Russian President Vladimir Putin could deploy his army to test NATO’s resolve in pursuing the principle of Article 5.
Article 5 is the cornerstone principle underpinning NATO, which stipulates all member states will come to the defence of any of the others should they be attacked by an external force. There are concerns Putin might attempt to overrun the Baltic states, which were previously annexed into the Soviet Union and were also parts of the Russian Empire.

Mr Rutte said Russia is rearming at a speed “which is unparalleled in recent history”. Mr Rutte has called on Western allies to increase their defence spending.
He said of the Russians: “They are now producing three times as much ammunition in three months as the whole of NATO is doing in a year. This is unsustainable, but the Russians are working together with the North Koreans, with the Chinese and Iranians, the mullahs, in fighting this unprovoked war of aggression against Ukraine.

Kremlin mouthpieces have since hit out at the Dutch NATO leader, saying he had “gorged on too many of the magic mushrooms beloved by the Dutch.”
In a post shared to X/Twitter, ex-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said: “He sees collusion between China & Russia over Taiwan, and then a Russian attack on Europe. But he’s right about one thing: he should learn Russian. It might come in handy in a Siberian camp.”
